Satellite Receiver
DexterVOIP is generally compatible with satellite receivers (both normal, HD and those with built-in TiVO units) from both DirecTV and Dish Network.
Satellite receivers require a telephone line to periodically dial in to a central system to report pay-per use information. These data connection sessions are generally short duration and work well with the DexterVOIP service.
Note: This covers satellite TV receivers, NOT satellite Internet service providers (e.g. Starband) which are generally not compatible with DexterMO Internet.
